Kirstin Gale Jones, PHR, PMIC
Owner
As a Greenville, SC native, I’ve built my career around problem-solving and helping people. After earning my degree in Sociology from Lander University, I spent a decade in federal law enforcement—developing strong skills in risk management, compliance, and conflict resolution. I then transitioned into human resources, becoming a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and gaining extensive experience in operations, contracts, and working with people from all backgrounds.
However, real estate has always interested me, and I began managing my first rental property in 2010. That experience showed me firsthand how complex property management can be. I quickly realized that successful rental management requires more than just finding tenants—it involves strategic pricing, legal compliance, proactive maintenance planning, and risk mitigation.
That experience led me to become a licensed Property Manager-in-Charge (PMIC) and start Goldenrod Property Management—a boutique-style firm dedicated to providing hands-on, personalized service. Unlike larger companies that manage hundreds or even thousands of doors, Goldenrod is built on the belief that every property and owner deserves dedicated attention. I take a structured, data-driven, and highly analytical approach to property management, focusing on accurate pricing, risk mitigation, and compliance to help owners maximize returns while minimizing stress.
